90s  were such a nice era for vampire movies with Interview With The Vampire (1992) and Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1994) and with the dusk of 90s the fall of vampires started. Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1997) and Angel from that series are worst characters portrayed ever as a vampire slayer and as a vampire if only we haven’t had a disaster called Twilight in 2008. Graceful immortals from previous movies changed into a teenage magazine model. Queen of The Damned (2002) made matters worse with a hurried production, sadly if it weren’t for Blade trilogy I could say Queen of The Damned would’ve kept the quality on ground level but thanks to Blade trilogy, the quality of such movies and series passed even the ground level! The new century and end of 90s wasn’t that hopeless though. I recall watching Underworld I with awe since the atmosphere truly reflected a word of darkness where vampires clash with their legendary arch enemy.

In my humble opinion, the golden age of vampire movies lived in 90s with two movies that had a radical point of view into the genre. Vampires weren’t just creatures that kill everything, they became something sentient, something lonely and something nostalgic while remaining gracefully deadly. The fall started with Buffy The Vampire Slayer series though, a huge disgrace and huge fall made for teenage audience where high school girls fight with enemies that talk the way too much and they do it with bare handed! It could be disgusting at first if only they haven’t introduced a side character whom would have it’s own series soon, yes Angel, a teenage magazine model. Put him into a pink frame into a pink room and you have it! A vampire sunbathes and have a tan skin! If there would be any more shame to vampire ilk, it would be a vampire suffering from diarrhea!

Although Blade trilogy raised the stages to a place where people watch movie to see the kung fu flicks of a vampire who gets his daily injection of garlic, the only good thing it would do is to create a foreground for Queen of The Damned, a very unsuccesful vampire movie which used the name of Interview With The Vampire to lure fans into the theatres just to slap them with a huge disappointment both in characters and in setting! Although things looked grim, Underworld gave us all a change to breath some fresh air and taste some grimy vampire world however,  second movie couldn’t meet the expectations.

I could say a sad time for vampire movies if it wasn’t for the shittiest of all vampire movies (if it were a serie, I guess I would say second shittiest after Buffy The Vampire Slayer) Twilight! This little new breed of vampires who actually shine in the sun and act like high school kids as they are kids, totally changed the conception of a vampire and again added a bunch of emotional bastards to the herd! These are the dark times, truly dark times!

Note: Although the Dracula walks in daylight as well in Bram Stoker’s Dracula, you can safely see that it is not for tanning and not in broad daylight. Moreover, his sacrifice is for his magnum opus -no spoilers here-.

It took months for me to gather both the necessary energy and the models for the photograph and in one cold winter night, me and two of my associates -Ibolomania & Anormaq- had let ourselves loose in the streets of Ankara. After a while of searching and accidently photographing a drunk man pissing behind bush we came into the place where I call the murder scene. In that corner Ibolomania had been killed and dragged by Anormaq into a dark corner for hiding purposes and I was there by pure coincidence to engrave the occasion in the tiny processors of my beloved 300D.

I can hardly believe when people cling to their retard thoughts! I get filled with pure fury! It is okay to shoot photos of your friends making funny faces but it certainly is not okay to pose as an artist with these photographs!

Internet is crawling with these kind of people and to make matters worse female ones of this kind get incredible support from mindless hordes and they are able to have exhibitions of their own!

Whatever you do, do not pose as a photographer. You’ll be quite happy with posting your shit into gallery sites such as flickr and you’ll even get some REAL praises for your crap being something worthwhile for an amateur since you’ll never ever have the balls needed to be a real photographer who gives a damn about the soul, the composition and spends some time on planning.

The Shit Called Overlord!

Although I am not a good gamer anymore, I still do like playing games and enjoying it though some of these days I feel like I am being tortured by this new genre of games with their consolish approach.  Overlord 2 is not an exception to this trend.

I’ve installed game with great hopes and endured with hope that a major twist in game will make it bearable at least and fun at best yet I had been sadly mistaken. Searching for a walkthough for Overlord 2 was a mistake as well, I had to go through a billion sites with tags to lure people into and offer no real information. Shall I nag a bit about good old days where people searched for txt e-books at IRC channels? Anyways, back to the topic, a game with almost impossible puzzled that require a fine mouse and mouse control, moving around all the time and trying to move your army through tight places while fighting with a thousand man is a waste of time, especially with the Spider Queen puzzle! It is downright idiotic to fight all your way through a nest and get struck in a stupid puzzle AFTER defeating the boss. A total loss of time!
